The primary functions of Orientation and Transition Experiences (OTE) are to facilitate successful transitions for students new to the University through programs, processes, and communications. Programs include the implementation of Orientation, Welcome Week, and transition programs for new first-year and transfer students through their second year. This programming is for 6,000+ new students, 2,000+ transfer students, 6,000+ second-year students and over 6,000 family members. OTE also hosts leadership positions for over 350 undergraduates through experiences such as orientation leaders, transfer leaders, parent coordinators, and welcome week leaders.
