Welcome Week

Wednesday, August 31 - Monday, September 5

Welcome Week is a week-long event that is required for the Class of 2026 and strongly recommended for new transfer students. Throughout Welcome Week, you will meet fellow new students, spend time with your college of enrollment, learn more about U of M, and explore the Twin Cities campus and surrounding community. Welcome Week will help you feel more comfortable and confident as you start your experience at the U and begin classes, not to mention it is a lot of fun!
