“As someone who has grown up living between three countries; India, the UK, and the US, it is always hard to answer when
anyone asks me where I am from. Over July and August of 2024, I was able to study and intern abroad in London while adding a second major and finishing up a minor. Being back in the city I call my second home and exploring it again was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Through this experience, I am able to bring a global perspective to my future career.”

“In my time abroad traveling in the south of Chile, belonging to me had everything to do with the people I was with. While there were moments of loneliness, particularly with language barriers, finding the people that were patient, welcoming and kind meant so much. Belonging abroad means leaning into the vulnerability of meeting new people while appreciating the moments of solace in community and good friendship that are formed cross-culturally during new experiences.”

“For me, belonging means finding community and being able to contribute something meaningful to it. I'm including a photo with my Spanish host family and my friends on campus, both are communities I find and add meaning to!”
