Second Year Celebration Week is designed to celebrate students nearing the completion of their second year at the University of Minnesota. There are several opportunities to win fun giveaways while exploring events and resources designed just for second-year students!

For every event you attend, you will be entered into the Second Year Celebration raffle for a chance to win a prize.

Instagram Interaction and Prize Drawing

We will also post questions and polls for students. Answering these will get you an entry into our Instagram gift card drawing. So make sure to follow us on our Instagram @oteumn

Each survey will close an hour after the event. Only second year U of M students are eligible for prizes

Second Year Sweets with Orientation and Transition Experiences & Center for Academic Planning Exploration

9 - 11 a.m. | CMU Front Plaza 

Take a detour on your way to class to grab a sweet treat. The Student Transition Experience team and the Center for Academic Planning and Exploration will have sweet treats outside of the CMU from 9 - 11 a.m. Come learn about transition events and how CAPE can help you in your college journey. Donuts and Muffins will be first come, first serve.

Boynton Health’s PAWS (Pet Away Worry & Stress) sessions feature registered therapy animal teams—including dogs, bunnies, cats, chickens, and other therapy animals as available. Sessions are FREE and open to the University of Minnesota community. All are welcome!!

Are you ready for new music? Do you like a Friday afternoon study break to ease into the weekend? Join us in the atmospheric Upson room (room 102) for studying, blackout (tortured) poetry, friendship bracelet making, and snacks.
