What you need to know
Prior to your orientation date, you will get two different emails with instructions for accessing your Remote Orientation. This Remote Orientation requirement has two major components:
- Your Student Experience: Online Orientation via Canvas: The goal of Online Orientation via Canvas is to provide you with valuable information about University resources and services, and about your college of enrollment. Your advisor will reference the information you learn in the Online Orientation via Canvas during your scheduled Orientation date. You must complete your online orientation via canvas and pass the college content quiz with a score of 80% to attend your scheduled orientation date.
- Scheduled Orientation Date via Zoom: On this day, you will meet with an Orientation Leader with other students from your college of enrollment, and your academic advisor and register for fall 2020 courses. Your Orientation schedule and assigned Zoom links will be found on the Orientation Hub. The schedule information populates approximately 48 hours before your scheduled Orientation date.
